CTC Quick Access Privacy Policy

CTC Quick Access is a Chrome extension provided by Crop-Tech Consulting for authorized employees. It provides quick access to company, department, and personal work resources through the Chrome side panel.
Information Used by Quick Access
When an authorized employee uses CTC Quick Access, the extension communicates with the Crop-Tech Consulting intranet using the employee's existing authenticated intranet session.
The extension may receive information necessary to provide its functionality, including:
- The employee's preferred name
- The employee's department
- Company and department shortcuts available to the employee
- Personal shortcuts configured by the employee
- Shortcut names, destinations, descriptions, and icons
CTC Quick Access does not collect passwords, PINs, payment information, health information, browsing history, or location information.
Temporary Clipboard
Quick Access includes four optional temporary clipboard slots. Text placed into these slots is stored locally in the user's Chrome browser profile using Chrome's local extension storage.
Clipboard-slot contents are not transmitted to Crop-Tech Consulting by the extension. The extension does not read the user's system clipboard. It only writes text to the system clipboard when the user explicitly chooses to copy a saved entry.
Locally stored clipboard entries may remain in the browser profile until the user clears or replaces them or removes the extension.
How Information Is Used
Information accessed by CTC Quick Access is used only to provide the extension's employee productivity features, including displaying appropriate company, department, and personal shortcuts.
Data Sharing and Advertising
CTC Quick Access does not sell user data. The extension does not use employee information for advertising, creditworthiness, or unrelated purposes.
CTC Quick Access does not contain third-party advertising or analytics.
External Resources
Selecting a shortcut may navigate the user to another website, Crop-Tech system, or supported Crop-Tech Bridge resource. Information handled by those systems is subject to the policies and practices applicable to those systems.
Security and Access
CTC Quick Access is intended for authorized Crop-Tech Consulting employees. Access to employee-specific shortcut information requires an authenticated Crop-Tech Consulting intranet session.
Data Retention and Removal
Employee and shortcut information displayed by the extension is retrieved from Crop-Tech Consulting systems as needed. Temporary clipboard entries are stored locally in the user's Chrome profile.
Users can remove locally stored clipboard content by clearing the clipboard slots or removing the extension. Questions regarding employee information maintained by Crop-Tech Consulting may be directed to Crop-Tech Consulting.
Changes to This Policy
